Before or afterward? Lately I've been living out of a crock pot, eating "real food" instead of processed junk, etc. AKA Actually listening to what my mom told me.

High five! I started trying to lose weight in July after realizing I was over 200. Started around 205, now I'm around 185 (goal will be around 150 I think). Definitely not as impressive as your loss, but I definitely feel a lot better so you must feel great after 50.
You have less to lose. I was WAY too big, and only my height was hiding how bad it was. I still need to go down 30-ish more to be in the right place.

How do you plan to maintain it going forward?
A large part of it was a medication I had been taking for almost a decade. I'll be the first to say it saved my life, and I'm glad I was on it, but it made me so ravenous it was unbearable. I'd forgotten just how abnormal my appetite was. I only need to eat one meal a day now plus a bit of snacking, and I've been getting off my ass a lot more lately, too. I admit, I've been out of work for a while, which has made this a lot easier to focus on.

As far as quality goes, the crock pot is premier bachelor cooking. A++, highly recommend.
