Are you implying terrorism is exclusively practiced by Muslims? There are absolutely several terrorists who AREN'T "real" Muslims, because they don't follow Islam.

Regardless, if a terrorist practices Islam and believes in the Quran, they are a "real" Muslim, because that is in line with what a Muslim is.

If a tankie completely flouts all leftist values and ideals, and instead just uses it as an aesthetic as an excuse to worship their preferred imperialist oligarch, they aren't a "real" leftist, because that's not what being a leftist means.

I didn't say anything about "real leftists", because its an irrelevant distinction. You either believe in leftist ideas and are a leftist, or you don't and you aren't. Its an incredibly simple criteria, you're the one trying to twist it into a bizarre gotcha.
