Dang, I somehow never even knew Thom Yorke and Michael Stipe were buddies and it seems like this song in turn inspired one of REM's later, lesser known album tracks. Between Nirvana and Radiohead, Michael Stipe seems to have inspired more iconic 90's frontmen and their music (technically this is from 2000 but whatever) than what appears on the already impressive surface of REM's commercial era, which has also mostly aged well, albeit a bit quirky feeling at times.

Also, while we are at it, let's not forget, Radiohead chose their name after The Talkingheads song of the same name.
