I have had two devastating crash outs recently in GPs. One was literally as late of a crash out as possible...very last lap of Silence in the Knight Cup. I boosted into a bumper, hit the wall, and crashed right before crossing the finish line. But I was like 11th or something overall (think I was 3rd that race) so no way was I winning. The second was in the King Cup; I was in first going into the third race! I don't think I've ever been in first at any point in any GP, so this was exciting. Was about to have a top 5 finish on Port Town 2 when I similarly boosted into a bumper. This time wasn't right before the finish though and it was a red bumper. Probably more devastating than the first crash out. That said, I have no faith in myself being able to keep that first place on Fire Field. Need more practice on that level since I only ever played it once! I just laughed both of these off because they were so dumb. Gotta quit boosting into bumpers --- Welcome to your Divinity. ...
