It's bull shit that he doesn't own the rights to "Zero Punctuation", but he could just title his videos something else and do the same thing. "Sarcastic overly critical stick figure graphic'd reviews of video games" isn't going to be something that can be claimed as intellectual property.

And when Escapist dies a fiery death a few months from now, he can probably buy the name back for cheap.

I seem to recall Yahtzee had a channel called "Fully Ramblomatic" or something like that right before he was picked up by the escapist.
