Topic	Started playing Chained Echoes spoilers

I appreciate a good JRPG, particularly from the SNES era, but I don't seem to be as into them as I used to be and I'm not completely sold on the overheating mechanic or the fact that the game switches to being about mechs later. Am I being dumb? Tried Sea of Stars when it released.
