The only exception that I will add on starchy carbs to an already starchy carb-based meal is potato chips/crisps on a sandwich, and even then I prefer them separate lol

I honestly can't think of any other time I'd do it. Pasta on bread is ridiculous to me. Separate within the same meal, sure. Together in the same bite is too much. Macaroni noodles on pizza just seems redundant, I mean just put whatever cheese you'd put on the pasta on top of the pizza and that should do it.
