it wasn't an issue with my Pixel 2XL, but up until I smashed my 7 Pro last night, it was already at 40%. However, a good amount of that storage was was from older photos and videos of the cloud downloaded on it. I don't plan on playing too many games, but perhaps the 4k videos and photos could take their toll in 2-3 years vs 1080p photos on Pixel 2XL? Especially when Google is offering 7 years If support for the 8 series. I wass thinking of getting a 256GB version and returning the 128GB version of the Pixel 8 Pro I bought today.
