In the SNES version, the inventory had 29 slots and each item took up 1 and didn't stack. Now everything stacks and can (usually) hold 10 of each item. Anything over that goes into storage that you can withdraw when your items are used. More powerful items have lower limits, like Kerokerocolas (now called Croaka Colas >_>) and Pick Me Ups have limits of 3 and 6 respectively. Plus items that used to take up inventory space like the Wallet now go into key items (but you can still sell them in the shop like regular items) I like it and think it's a great change.
