Some article came out about people pooping in line for rides at Disney world since the wait was so long.

I don't know how it works at Disneyland (never been), but at Disney World just buy Genie+ and you get on rides so much quicker. There are caveats of course though (look them up).

I did Hollywood Studios and Epcot just earlier this week. This was my strategy.

At 7am I purchased a Lightning Lane of Rise of Resistance and also use my first Genie+ on Slinky Dog which was about 9:40 to get on. Then I rope dropped Rise so I could ride it twice. Got on in like 10 min wait. Then rode Runaway Railway (20 min wait). Then used my Genie+ for Slinky Dog. Then rode Smugglers Run like 3 times using the single rider line (less than 10 min each time). Then waited in line at Star Tours (10 min wait) Then used Genie+ on Aerosmith, then Genie+ on Tower of Terror. Then ate lunch. Then watched Indiana Jones. Then did droid depot and savi's lightsabers (both prebooked). Then drank at the Cantina (also prebooked). Then rode Tower of Terror again to kill time to Fantasmic. At this point the only ride I hadn't ridden was Toy Story Mania that I wanted so after Fantasmic I raced there and it was still open with a 5min queue so I rode it and then left.

For Epcot, I purchase Guardians Lightning Lane at 7am for about 10:10 ride. Then I rope dropped Ratatouille (1 hour wait since EVERYBODY rope drops either that or Frozen due all the kiddos). Then rode Guardians. Then Genie+ literally every other ride except Test Track and Frozen since its so easy to get on the rest of the rides with it. Then single rider'd Test Track. At 1pm I got in the second Guardians virtual queue so I could ride it again before eating dinner. After eating some "dinner" I waited in line for Frozen (1 hour) and then watched the fireworks show.
