yes, show me a better alternative pls. Looking for a candidate that mostly aligns with me. I'm guessing this is hyperbole to highlight other points but at a literal value I'd prefer that not to be the case. I'd have been doxxed years ago just for speaking by mind--by people in this topic--under those rules. See below reply as well, related.

There is profound irony here. I've been nothing but polite and attempting to justify or reason through my views.

Anyone that disagrees should re-read the entire topic. It's largely vitriol and hate, and purely one-sided. This is another fundamental problem I have with the democratic party, one that is evident from this topic: complete cognitive dissonance from their own complaints.

The party as a whole is wildly, wildly intolerant of ideas that are not their own. Not that republicans are much better-or hey, better at all-- but the lack of recognition of their own intolerance while preaching tolerance is staggering.

It extends far beyond this website. This is just a symptom and an expected result. Still, I try to wait for anyone willing to debate with substance. Always willing.

Destruction is from both parties. Why, tell me, did democrats vote in unison to oust mccarthy? And really, think about it before replying. But I'll give you a good answer.

They don't want to see the rise of the moderate republican. They gave other reasons, including a recent interview, but really they were just as interested in kneecapping this country as the MAGA wing. They knew full well the weeks of congressional inaction that would follow. They could have kept the country functioning but chose to disable everything out of spite.
