Much more selfish and greedy and seem to ruin things for themselves in the long run in favour of short term gain. As an American I agree and it's one of the most disheartening thing about this country. They shove "rugged individualism" on us so hard that it's led to not only apathy, but often hatred for those who are less fortunate or who didn't have the same options because "I did it, so can they.
