Not around much this weekend due to holiday/life stuff. Some posts stand out to me more than others:

Also, why should the burden of the Olive Branch be on the Democrats after 1/6 and the continued misinformation they push regarding the 2020 election?

Because they represent the country, not a party. "One side did wrong so other side can do whatever" is the goal here? I've never said the republican party as a whole is admirable, I've just said I lean conservative. But putting democrats up on a pedestal after watching them contribute to gridlocking is confusing. They knew what they were doing.

You've never answered my question so its hard to communicate with you about this. I'll try again. WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY?

Seriously. No sarcasm at all.

So a 17 or 18 year old doesn't understand loans. Not their fault. Arguable, though there is a slight point that an 18 year old is an adult.

But its inexcusable to not fault the parents co signing loans. No 18 year old doesn't have a co signer.

Let me ask you the question differently:

If I don't understand the terms of my mortgage, do I get my house for free? Will government just buy me a car if I don't understand car payments? Why is there such an exception for loans where ignorance is considered a valid excuse?

I'm not going to disagree there are for-profit incentives with the industry. But society is fundamentally for profit. Very little business is charity business and for the nth time, college isn't mandatory.

Or do it my way and pay as you go (possible with undergrad, med school not so much)
