390. Flamethrower (Sektor, MK3)

Sektor may only shoot a small burst of fire here, but its still enough to incinerate his opponent. The skeleton standing in place briefly before crumbling into ashes counts for a lot, although the flamethrower being more sustained would have also helped this rank higher.

389. Back Breaker (Shang Tsung, MK VS DC)

This feels like a toned down version of Shang Tsungs Deadly Alliance fatality. That one wasnt particularly gory either, but he did slam the opponent multiple times. That said, the opponents reaction to having their back stomped on helps sell this one.

388. Tornado Cut (Kabal, MKD)

This one is a good idea, but the technology to do it justice isnt quite there yet. Pieces fly off the spinning opponent as Kabal cuts down them, but they dont correspond to the cut, as the pieces themselves are not cut in half. This is one that would be worth bringing back in a modern game. Maybe next time Kabal makes the roster?

387. Boot Squash (Jax, MK1)

A change of camera angle helps sell this version better than the original. We get a better look at Jax as he grows, and we see just how big he is before stepping on his opponent and making a big mess. Jax hunching over slightly if he uses this fatality on an indoor stage is a nice touch.

386. Kneebone Knife (Tanya, MKD)

The kneebones connected to the neckbone wait, thats not right. Tanya clearly flunked biology at school. She didnt flunk killing though, as she rips out a bone and stabs the opponent with it in a brutal fashion. I winced when the bone went into the opponents neck!
