Raiden can and does blow up entire bodies with his lightning, but here he shows a bit more restraint. That he can still have such an effect when hes holding back clearly establishes that the thunder god is on a level above the mortals fighting in the tournament. 384. Toasty! (Scorpion, MK2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3mvvK3Tqdc Scorpions has levelled up his flame breath, and now he can make his opponent explode by using it! Honestly, I could do without the skeleton dancing then exploding, but I cant stay mad at this fatality for giving us the iconic Toasty! sound effect. 383. Blade Lift (Baraka, MK VS DC) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIfyprDB5G0 This is a bit of a twist on Barakas classic fatality. Instead of the blade lift being the whole fatality, now its only a small part of it. After a couple of slashes to soften them up, Baraka lifts up the impaled opponent, but he has another surprise in store, tossing the opponent over his head instead of leaving them on his blades. This one is a good update to a classic. 382. Lightning Strike (Raiden, MKD) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWnDCvQR4dA Raiden electrocutes his opponent until they explode, but unlike his other Deception fatality, he doesnt blow himself up in the process this time, being self-aware enough to stand at a safe distance. Fighting in a lethal tournament is dangerous enough as it is, without taking additional unnecessary risks! He also strikes a cooler pose, raising one arm to channel lightning through it, then fire it at the opponent from his other arm. 381. Bed of Nails (Shang Tsung, MK3) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AB_5gjporsk Do you want to impale your opponent on a bed of spikes, but youre not fighting on the Pit? Shang Tsungs got you covered! Slamming the opponent onto the spikes by grabbing their head makes this a bit more unique than using an uppercut or push or similar, but this fatality still feels a bit Eh, he has magic, just give him whatever. --- Call from demon - with dark power to tempt your mind, very proud of the power.
