Root Bear https://play.date/games/root-bear/ Johnbobb shared this game earlier because it went viral on social media, and it finally gets its ofificial Playdate release! You pour bears root beer using the crank. Looks like the sort of perfect goofy score chaser that uses the crank perfectly. I'll be getting this one soon. Nightingale https://play.date/games/nightingale/ Weird janky indie adventure horror? Yes please. I play a ton of indie horror and 95% of them are garbage. This is giving me garbage vibes from the screenshot but you know what? I'm getting this one anyway. I love horror and this is the first game on the Playdate that is really advertising itself as horror so I'm definitely nabbing this one soon too. Chew Chew Mimic https://play.date/games/chew-mimic/ Puzzle game where you try to lure a group of knights to a mimic chest so you can eat them. I can't quite tell what the mechanics are here from the blurb, but I'll probably check this one out on the Playdate store to see if they show off some footage. I'm interested at least and it sounds like a fun concept for a puzzle game.
