The fire on Sonyas kiss isnt as powerful as usual, since it isnt burning the opponent down to their bones, but their entire body being covered in burns is almost worse because of the possibility they could have survived this. If they did, it will take months, if not years to recover from those burns. The body freezing up looks a little silly though.

Remember when I said Sheevas MK3 fatality was a good start, but needed a bit more to it? Here comes Jax to show her how its done. Its better than Sheevas version, but I do think it would be better either without the first kick, or if it did more damage before the second kick decapitates the opponent.

323. One Into Two (Kai, MK4)

Johnny Cage had to put in some effort to rip people in half in this game, while Kai is upstaging him by doing with more easily from a more difficult hold that gives him less leverage. Getting to throw down both halves of the body also makes Kai look more impressive than Johnny here. The top half even twitches a bit before dying, so they were conscious for long enough to register theyd been ripped in half, which is quite horrific if you think about it.

This is a better version of Jades fatality from this game. Sub Zero using his ice powers to create a stalagmite to impale his opponent is more creative and dynamic looking than Jade holding out her staff.

Oh oh here she comes. Watch out boy, shell chew you up! Oh oh here she comes, shes a man eater! A classic thats benefited from recent exposure when Ellie did it in the Last of Us TV series. This fatality is notable for giving us our first look at Mileenas true nature. She looks like an unassuming ninja like Kitana, but then the mask comes off and shes a monster underneath!
