Between the sound effect when Scorpion takes his mask off, and the opponent running around on fire, this feels like a more comedic take on Scorpions flame breath. Im not sure if thats intentional or not.

304. Fatal Kicks (Li Mei, MKDA)

In retrospect, I think I put this up too high. When I was ranking, I was impressed by the shower of gibs shooting out from the opponents back after the first kick, but now while Im doing the write-ups, Im noticing how much dead time there is here with very little happening. Li Meis outfit in this game is nice. I like the colour palette, among other things. Ill leave aforementioned other things to your imagination.

303. Unchained (Spawn, MK11)

Spawn controlling his chains to attack his opponent is cool, particularly when he flays the opponent instead of crushing them like you would expect with a chain based fatality. The second part with the cape doesnt have as much impact for me, and I admit thats down to my lack of familiarity with Spawn. Does his cape regularly come to life and eat people, or is he controlling it like he does the chains? Or are they alive too? If there any Spawn fans who could enlighten me, it would be much appreciated!

302. Scream Queen (Sindel, MK11)

Now thats a perfect name for a Sindel fatality! This gets points for incorporating both of Sindels key techniques, her hair and her sonic scream. While weve seen her scream killing people before, restraining the opponent first lets it reach its full potential. All thats missing is her saying Too bad YOU will die! before starting to scream.

301. Head Lantern (Kollector, MK11)

If Injustice had fatalities, this would have been Scarecrows. The opponents eyes flying out after the whack from the lantern adds a touch of comedy to this otherwise gruesome move to keep it from getting too horrifying.
