That's hilarious. Buggy indie games can give some fantastic moments.
This isn't a comparable glitch, but when I first played Alien Isolation, the cutscene where the Alien first appears completely bugged out. I heard random sounds, but nothing else happened except for the music getting dramatic. Wasn't sure what was going on, so I did what I needed to in that area then started sprinting away because the music had me on edge. You're supposed to be scared and sneaking due to Alien having officially appeared, but since I never actually saw its character model...yeah. As I was running up the stairs, I heard big plodding footsteps, then turned around to see the Alien standing on the bannister one floor down, just staring at me without moving. I think it was as surprised to see me as I was to see it.
