Lehigh jumps out to a 10-0 lead early in the 2nd quarter, but FAU finds the endzone late in the 1st half, then ties it with a FG just after halftime, in part thanks to a Lehigh interception near midfield. Lehigh regains the lead on their next drive with a 43-yard kick by Nick Garrido, but Garrido misses a 40-yarder the drive after that which could have pushed the lead to 6. FAU takes advantage and ties the game on a 48-yarder from Carter Davis, 13-13. Lehigh only gets 1 first down before they have to punt with about 5 minutes left in the game. FAU gets several chunk plays, putting together a 78-yard game-winning touchdown drive, capped off by a 13-yard pass from QB Daniel Richardson to Tony Johnson.
