Weve had heart rips, weve had a brain rip or two, now here comes DVorah to do both at once! DVorah using her insectoid appendages makes sense as it gives her more range, even if it does take away a bit of the impact that other characters got from using their bare hands. That said, smooshing the heart and brain together at the end makes up for it.

Another Queen reference! Im starting to think NetherRealm regret not calling Rain Mercury instead. This is a different use for a whirlpool, with the opponent wrapped inside it instead of being sucked in. Bending and contorting out of shape is decent, but it could have been better if there was more visible damage on the opponent once Rain releases them, like bones jutting out of broken arms or legs, for instance. My favourite part of this fatality is Rain stomping on the severed head at the end ironically, the part that doesnt use his water powers.

238. For the Kollection (Kollector, MK11)

This fatality feels like what happens in a zombie movie when one person gets overrun by zombies and is ripped apart by the horde. That Kollectors scratches are doing so much damage when hes alone in scratching them is pretty scary. We also get a bit of personality here, when he keeps some of the remains as a souvenir while continuing to scratch. He really wanted that liver!

237. Back Blown Out (Shao Kahn, MK11)

Nothing says dominance more than Shao Kahn forcing people to bow to him by hitting them with this hammer. Part of me wishes the head had been shot out of the bottom instead of the back so that I could make a talking out of your ass joke. While putting the ranking together, I had nicknames to remind myself of what the fatalities were before looking up the proper names, and I used that name for this fatality.

236. Burn Out (Liu Kang, MK11)

Liu Kang has levelled up his Fire Punch since MK9, as now he can blow people up with it! The rapid fire punches at the beginning of this fatality remind me of the old style brutalities from MK3, where the opponent exploded after a long, difficult to input combo. Luckily, this is considerably easier to input than those, and also has a better payoff.
