| Shattered 12/30/23 12:38:08 PM #431: | Initial reaction was that Raptors fleeced but I assumed the draft comp would be at least a 1st. Seems even-ish Risky move for the Knicks as OG could walk for nothing, they will obviously pay him. I really like Quickley but with how the Knicks have used him, they probably weren't matching a meaty RFA deal in the offseason. I'd guess Raptors have more moves to make as RJ is a rough fit on that roster as it currently stands. I can't believe that this is all they got for OG after the pricetags that had been quoted for him previously. I'd have liked him (or Quickley) in Orlando but not for the price that had been rumored. But for the price that was paid, I'd have been happy to pay it as he would be such a good fit with our roster. Maybe we didn't think we could get him to re-sign ... Copied to Clipboard! |
