Virtual vindication for the Seminoles! Not even sure they needed Travis - he finally threw his first touchdown pass as time expired when FSU was already up 3. Still, better than Carson Beck's 0 touchdowns and 1 interception. According to the website, Florida State has only won this match-up 18% of the time.

Alright now I'm CONVINCED an FCS team is winning it all. Texas got within 1, early in the 4th quarter, but never led. QB Tommy Mellott was extremely efficient for the Bobcats - 4 TDs on 13/17 passing, plus 69 yards & a TD on the ground. Ewers threw 3 TD passes and no picks, but had only 200 passing yards and a 50% completion rate.

Holy shit, they are the actual Crusaders sent from God, nevermind what I said about Butler. Kept pace with LSU the entire way, and did just enough in the 2nd half. QB Sluka again with a huge game on the ground: 20 carries for 187 yards and a TD. Jayden Daniels "held" to 3 total TDs (2 passing, 1 rushing).
