A: “I hope he’s wearing some half-assed dress like in the portrait and a stripper wig and heels. (imitating Maria): Oh Beatrice! What a big Adam’s apple you have!” Then I add: “What a big beard you have!” Then she says: “Maria wouldn’t even notice if he had stubble.”

The line about Shannon’s death not being pretty. A: “I’ve been around too many murderers.” Also Shannon mentions that it didn’t hurt. A: “Is that a hint?” K: “It could just mean it was so fast that she didn’t feel anything.” Whew, deflected…. I think she’s still suspicious, though. “Or maybe her face was blasted off after her death.”

A: “I’m waiting for everything to go wrong.” Literally said that just before Battler said that something is wrong and that we stopped thinking. Then the ticking clock. Have I mentioned that Arria is freaked out by the ticking clock? Any time it starts, she assumes the worst.
