I hate how they make you take courses that are completely unrelated to your major. Why did I as a Finance major have to take the entry level biology courses and for fucks sake Art 100? English classes and math basics okay that's understandable, but requiring me to take biology and an art elective is just inflating revenue for the school. I mean I get that it might be good for students who don't know what they want to do, so they can dip their toes in diverse fields so they can decide what they want. But for students who already know what they want to do, that's just taking advantage of them.

In the case of Biology it would actually help if they focused on the core principle of evolution and gave kind of a broad overview of the history of life on Earth, along with humans' place in nature; you can get surprising insight into the world when thinking in those terms. Instead, they just teach all this crap about the cell that next to no one in the class will remember, especially since they don't provide a reason as to why a non-Biology major should care about something as abstract and irrelevant to day-to-day life as cellular processes.
