I think that's part of Pinky's point though. As I've never watched One Punch Man, the only thing I have to draw on is the music itself. And it's like most piano ballads.

Now apparently it's an arrangement and not the original, which is probably contributes to the MIDI keyboard feel of it (as it probably is a midi arrangement).


Basically. If I remember correctly, the situation at the time that music plays is that an underdog character stands up heroically to a super powerful villain and gives an emotional speech about not giving up or something, even though you know he doesn't stand a chance. You get some of that from the music.

But this is music that is completely derivative. And that's fine - it didn't set out to be original or even especially good - it just set out to set the tone of the scene.

I mean look if you want to listen to this it's fine but I'm not going to play best friends and say that it's comparable to Beethoven.
