That's the only time you get new message notifications. That's actually not true. You get message notifications for any new posts in topics you made too. For example, this post should be a notification to TC even if he untracked it (if he even tracked it to begin with) I literally have multiple topics I made rn I don't get notifications from as I'm not tracking them.
