It costs them money to include that and it causes people to spend less time on new games. I don't like it either, but you can't expect them not to want to make money and keep their current platform and games strengthened. I always thought backwards compatibility players were a small percentage, but maybe even they are too much for Sony. Also, they don't want you playing your old games. Please buy them again. After all, the producers have been increasingly conning the consumers in their favor since 2006 in video games. Why stop now? There's no one to expose them.
