Not sure if anyone's stated this but I feel this is an important part of the movement.

Fascism is reactionary in nature, and rooted in deep nationalism and militarism. Fascist movements often start with the desire to either restore a supposed former glory to a nation or bring a community into a new, golden age. Fascism opposes diversity and focuses on uniting the people (or at least those who meet "the standard") under a massively powerful state who controls virtually all affairs within the nation they rule over. Finally, fascist movements will often try and blame a group of people (ethnic/religious/etc) for the previous failures of a nation. I'm not a leftist by any means I Trump is far from a fascist but I thought this was important to understanding the ideology.

I touched on some of it, but not the part about the collective consciousness and the "folk soul" etc. That's a good addition.
