Protesting the anthem/flag is too close to me to protesting America as an idea. It seems you don't have any idea why they're protesting. They aren't protesting the anthem/flag. Every single one of those athletes love America. They are protesting during the singing of the national anthem to use their platform as sports figures to help stir a conversation about social injustice and racial equality.
