the entire story is about giving the light back to everyone, while you are the only one with light still. you don't even have to look in game, in all the bungie interviews and reveals they also state as much. so where is this actual proof you have that others have light

Ha, no, you are right. I was thinking Destiny 1 and thought you were implying that your guardian is the only one that had light.

Also, I don't think you can just dismiss Shaxx because he sort of goes against what you are saying (though, I'd think that the crucible would canonically take place before and after the Red War).
