Yes No View Results Mackelmore, the Seattle Rapper is touching down in Sydney, Australia where he will perform his hit song "Same Love", the pro-gay song being played at NRL Grand Final Performance that has anti-gay protesters up in arms who say gay politics should be NOT be played at the event!! The Grammy winning artist was flanked with security after he got DEATH THREATS when he furthered said that it was "ANGRY WHITE MEN" who were blasting him online.. Conservatives have also hit out at the US Star for performing there and getting his opinion involved when the country is set to vote on whether or not to legalize same-sex marriage. NRL Chief, Todd Greenberg said he does not regret choosing the rapper as he said it was one of the bravest decisions he's made. The NRL and AFL have backed the yes campaign in the same sex marriage postal survey. Mary Lambert, who is also on the popular track has hit back at the critics and said it's the people who oppose gay marriage that are unhappy and finds it sad as she says they are SEXUALLY REPRESSED and MISERABLE who want other people to be miserable. She said "Some of the worst homophobes in my life eventualy come oout gay" Prime Minister Malcolm Turnball and ex minister Tony Abbot have blasted the rapper for performing the song as they back the No campaign.
