Eskimo is actually a racial slur, but very few people even know that or use it maliciously anymore. The gulf between Eskimo and cracker is almost as big as the gulf between cracker and n***. It'd be nice to live in a world without racial slurs at all. I agree. But we still have to be intellectually honest in that not all these words are created equal.
