Gronk is a bit more of a red zone threat, but the Pats are a team that spread the ball around and can make Joe Bagadonuts from Middle of Nowhere University a massive star and target hog, and that can lead to Gronk having some dud games. Michael Thomas is the guy for the Saints. Especially if you're PPR. Gronk also has injury history. These will be your WRs without MT WR: Michael Crabtree (catching passes from EJ Manuel for the next few weeks. Also has an injury) Devante Parker (respectable, but offense is anemic (team hasn't scored a TD in two straight games) Desean Jackson (boom or bust) Brandon Marshall (hot garbage until Eli figures his shit out) Jeremy Maclin (also garbage offense) When I look at that, knowing I have to start at least two of them on a weekly basis, I really don't get inspired. I get that the TE is the shallowest positions this year, but I don't think it's worth sacrificing your receiver corps to get Gronk. I would feel more comfortable just picking up the hot TE of the week (is Kroft really the best available?) Again, that's just my personal opinion. There's definitely something to be said for a set-it-and-forget-it player at a garbage position. --- Not removing this until Pat Benatar is in Super Smash Bros.
