No. He knows that white privilege is keeping his ass afloat and that the people who elected him will do literally anything to keep from acknowledging that. So he plays to that base, and makes them feel good about themselves, and they enshrine him. Hell, even white people that don't support him have to downplay his racial politics, because they know that if they dig too deep into unpacking it, what they'll uncover will implicate them too. Alright. I'm merely pointing out that when it comes to navigating the nuance of American racial politics and how they have propped up his campaign, Donald Trump is actually quite clever.
