Alex (the Black kid/leader) doesn't have powers but he's a genius strategist. His parents serve as the Kingpin type rich thug type. Nico (the Japanese girl) have a magical staff inside her that comes out when she bleeds as her parents are evil sorcerers. Molly (the little girl) is actually a mutant like her parents. Well, probably not in this show for copyright reasons. Gert (girl with the purple hair) is mind linked with a dinosaur that her parents got from the past because they're evil time travelers. Chase (the jock guy) also doesn't have powers but his parents are mad scientists and he use their technology to fight.
