| fire_bolt 10/07/17 12:53:19 PM #10: | This one's easy On the one hand, we have a game franchise where the fanbase infighting is all about which game is the best in the series, with there being several contenders based on whether you prefer 2D vs 3D platforming and/or platforming vs RPG mechanics. On the other hand, we have a game franchise where the fanbase infighting is about which game is the WORST in the series, with their being several contenders based on which one scarred you the most personally. When the number of good games in your franchise is outweighed by the number of terrible/buggy nightmares, its probably time to throw in the towel.
