My scorecard:
Jason Aldean Cold Open - N/A - Can't really judge this cold open. Normally I wouldn't be into replacing the cold open with a musical performance but... I mean, I get it.
Gal Gadot Monologue - C+ - Started really good with Gadot's message to Israel, but Leslie kind of ruined it
First Date - B+ - Concept and execution were both funny, even if we kind of got the point right away
The Chosen One - B- - Chad's always funny, but this was probably his weakest one
Themyscira - A- - Probably the funniest this week. Not the MOST original joke, but McKinnon and Gadot made an entertaining pair
The Naomi Show - C - What was that straws thing about? Ok concept but felt kind of forced, and didn't dig Heidi as the kid
E! New Line Up - B- - Gadot as Jenner was funny, as was hiding Kanye. The rest was *shrug*
Espionage - F - Really dumb.
The Maiden and the Mice - D - Also pretty dumb.
Mirage - B - Sexy Gal Gadot and goofy Day and Mooney made for a solid sketch
Safelite - B+ - Beck is a little too good at playing the friendly creep.
Weekend Update - A - Yeah, GTM's right, just really good this week. 10/10 for the Ginsburns.
Overall - B- - Most sketches weren't bad, but there also weren't any super impressive ones either.
