Topic	Ok, so I gave my 2 weeks notice, considering taking it back....

If the new job isn't willing to wait 2 whole weeks for you to transfer after making the offer, that'd raise a red flag to me. If they made the offer, you sent your 2 week notice, and THEN the new employer rescinded the offer, that truly sucks.
