I feel like Supergirl already resolved most the dark/depressing Kara in the first episode. If that's all we get of it I'm okay but we'll see. Things I really liked: Cat as Press Secretary and not so subtly attacking Trump. Maggie asking J'onn to walk her down the aisle literally made me tear up. I know nothing about Reign at all but I really liked her introduction and am interested in seeing where she goes.
