We as a people can admit there are certain advantages and disadvantages to all kinds of visual identifiers. Men get treated differently then women. Young people get treated differently then old folks. Short and tall, athletic and overweight, casually dressed and well dressed, attractive and unattractive, etc. Looks play a factor in how your treated. Sometimes it's deliberate, most times its instinctive/ reactive. Yet white people insisting that its never race because they feel like we're attacking them constantly is asinine. Calling out certain systems and institutions on their bullshit is not an attack on any of you as individuals.
