So it appears that yes, in CA the punishment for intentionally calling someone by the wrong pronoun is worse than intentionally giving someone a fatal disease.

yes, assuming you are medical professional in a long term medical care facility, knowingly and purposely calling someone the wrong pronoun after being informed otherwise, and with the justice system deciding to punish you to the absolute maximum sentence available for such an offense (which lawmakers are saying will not happen in this case)
