It was quiet till, as you said, social media started giving everybody a voice. So people came out and spoke and people countered. The current climate is essentially people coming out of their bubbles and being shocked not everyone shares the same views. We were pretty isolated as people prior to the internet and social media. People stuck in their community bubbles. --- It all just disappears, doesn't it?
