But in that situation, what person's first response would be to just grab the nearest gun to try to shoot up the portal?~~ He grabbed the gun when the portal opened out of caution, but he didn't actually aim the gun until after the one dude lit up his hands and the girl started doing her thing. To this guy, it probably looks like the mutants already attacked the guy in the truck, and now they're standing there getting ready to use their powers again, so pointing a gun in self defense sounds like a pretty reasonable response to me. --- BK_Sheikah?
