I dont have any statistics to back it up but I see more and more people wearing soccer jerseys, fifa is insanely popular even among the crowd that plays madden, and in addition to all of this, its no longer cool to bash soccer. back in the day you'd have people agree, even when youd hear ridiculously dumb things like it takes no skill, there are no tactics, and its a sport for "girls" Now you cant say that stuff without people willing to beat your ass. of course those anecdotes dont mean much, but its what ive seen personally. ...
