super not a hard fact to understand.

soda is a diuretic, and you aren't drinking water to replace what you're pissing out. because soda also contains a large amount of sodium and sugar, this can also cause hypernatremia, which is like dehydration on steroids.

When drunk excessively, such as "all day", you're going to be dehydrated.

Actually that said caffeine anyway and not soda. Not all soda has caffeine in it anyway.What I linked said "may" and not does. It also said mild.
