Topic	what is everyone's opinion on comic books based off cartoons?

The first five Archie comics were direct adaptions of the first cartoon episodes, but after that it turned into a different universe compared to the cartoon. Dreamwaves four first comics were based on the 03 cartoon, but after that they went their own direction until it got cancelled after seven issues. I dont follow the Nickelodeon cartoon or comic so I dont know how close it follows each others, but other than that, I cant remember any other comic based on cartoon TMNT series. --- GameFAQs isn't going to be merged in with GameSpot or any other site.
