And, as others have noted, a way to eat your fish and be vegetarian, too. Vegetarians do not eat fish. Pescetarians do. There's a separate word for that specifically because fish is not vegetarian. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pescetarianism Pescetarian is a new term relatively speaking. At no point is someone that eats fish a vegetarian. They may otherwise follow a vegetarian diet, but fish makes it non-veg.
