My parents forced me to go to church every sunday of my life and we never even missed church on vacation, my father would find us a local church to go to. Only way I ever missed it was if I was sick. Pretty shitty forcing someone to go to church the first 20 years of their life. You have to also realize in church theres several tiers of Christians. Most Christians you would not even realize they were christian outside of church because they act like "bad Christians". The kind of person you and yellow are describing sounds like a rare unicorn.
