| Topic | Anyone played the older Legend of Heroes games? |

I've come across somewhat varying thoughts online though, and I wanted to gather some opinions before getting them since doing so would be somewhat involved. In general I play RPG's for the story. I don't typically care about gameplay much, though if the gameplay is particularly boring and takes too much time it can easily ruin a game for me (see Xenosaga for example). Also I only speak English, so I'd have to get the localized versions which I've heard have quite bad translations. (Though I do have a somewhat higher tolerance for that than the LoH fanbase in general) --- Congratulations to BK_Sheikah00, this year's guru to achieve contest enlightenment! ...
